कुछ तो हुआ है,
जो दिल धड़क रहा है।
कुछ हो रहा है,
जो महसूस हो रहा है।
कुछ होने वाला है,
जो बेचैनियां बढ़ा रहा है।
ये जो हो रहा है,
न जाने क्यूँ,
दिल मुस्कुरा रहा है।

हमें कुछ ना कहो,
उन्हें कुछ ना कहो,
ना हमारा कसूर है,
ना उनका कसूर है।
ये तो चाहत है,
हमारे और उनके दरमियाँ,
न उन्हें पता है,
ना हमें पता है।

ना ये कहने की बात है,
ना ये सुनने की बात है,
ये तो बस महसूस कर के,
खो जाने की बात है।

हमें भी कहा पता था,
उन्हें भी कहा पता था,
वो हमारे लिए,
हम उनके लिए,
इतने खास हो जाएंगे
वो हमसे दूर न रह पाएंगे,
ना हम उन्हें दूर जाने दे पाएंगे।
उन्हें भी कहा पता था,
हमें भी कहा पता था।

हम उनका सुनते,
कब आदत हो गई,
वो कहते रहे,
हम सुनते रहे।

वो हमारे दिल और दिमाग में है,
और हम उनके,
कितना भी फ़ासला आ जाए,
हमारे दरमियाँ,
ना हम उन्हें भूल पाएंगे,
ना वो हमें भूल पाएंगे।
